ARTISTS ALLIANCE SHOW - Returning for the second year, the Artists Alliance Group includes 15 recognized and award winning fine artists from Southern Michigan – each unique in their own disciplines, and united in their desire to artistically create. This diverse and colorful group will offer a visually challenging and rewarding presentation.

ELK RAPIDS ART BEAT is an occasion to visit each of the five galleries in town on one special day. Each gallery will have artists demonstrating their work and will be offering drawings for gift certificates or other special sale opportunities. Visitors to all the galleries during each event can participate in a gift certificate drawing for $500. Join us for a special day of art and fun!

CHARLES MURPHY - A presentation of outstanding watercolors and oils by one of the regions most popular artists. The show will include spectacular views of our Northern Michigan world and thought provoking abstracts with rich colors and textures.
JUNE 21, 22, 23, 2010 - PLEIN AIR WORKSHOP
ALAN MACIAG from the Frankenmuth, Michigan area has taught thousands of students over his career as a highly respected high school art teacher. This class will help sharpen students’ focus on the outdoor world, and help translate their observations to canvas. Tuition for this three day class is $325 and the class is limited to 10 students. The class will commence at the Twisted Fish Gallery each day and then proceed to painting sites throughout the Elk Rapids area.
